Prices To Pay

Dr. Who may be good, but you hardly expect it to be the source of great truths. Last week's show when he had to make it clear to his current companion that she would age, but he wouldn't, said something that has been said often before almost to the point of being an overused cliche, but it said it so simply that it leapt off the screen

Some Things Are Worth Getting Your Heart Broken

What that something might be is different for every human being. It is up to you to decide how high a price you are willing to pay for the emotional decisions of your life. The final line to "The Dance" by Garth Brooks says exactly the same thing:

I could have missed the pain but I'd of had to miss the dance
Leave it to a woman to state the corollary of this universal truth. K. T. Oslin's "Dr. Dr." states the wisely rueful:
How many times can a heart be broken
Before it refuses to mend
Will it give out suddenly with no warning?
Tell me how many loves have I got left?
Today's question. Has your heart been broken? More than once? Will you risk it again or have you run out of love?

Well, right now the new site is breaking my heart because it seems to be going the way of blogspot...and after I had written a lengthy post.

It's always hard to tell. But it's never worth it to give up.

I doubt there's ever such a thing as running out of love.

Despite some of the aches of the world it is still filled with everyday love :)

I don't know if I will ever find love again. The week you all were in Vegas my ex was getting re-married there.

She was marrying her live in boyfriend who by the way is divorced. My son doesn't care one way or the other, but my daughter does and don't like him.

I told her that it was her mothers decision to make and to respect it even though she didn't like it.

As for me, I took my vows seriously. What God has joined together let no man cast asunder. I'm married until Death us do part. Her or Me, that's how I see it.

Yes, it would be nice too fall in Love again, but I'm still married in the eyes of the Lord.

Sheila... Go for it girl.

God Bless.
