While most places in the country are sweltering, it seemed appropriate to inject a little "cool" into the blogasphere. These pictures are from Northwest Trek in Washington. Hundreds of acres left to natures devices except for some fencing you can't see to keep the carnivores from dining on the herbivores. Run a tram through it to keep the animals from being bothered by human beings, and you have a truly wonderful place to visit since they won't let you move in and live there.
