A trip through time and history with stops along the way.
Wow! How do I get there?
Its a swap! it looks lovely here.
It is in Pacific Grove California on public land, but you can stay there either as an individual or a group. It sits between the Pacific Ocean and State Park so you get deer and dunes. No phones, very rustic. Top that off that it is literally only a mile walk from Monterey, Cannery Row, and the aquarium - tacky tourist heavenDuring November the winter sea breaking on the rocks is spectacular. One of my favorite places on earth.Asilomar
Wow - how did I miss this when I lived in California? Oh to hop on a plane and take a nice vacation there ...
I thought it was in another country! It had that look about it.
Now that is one place in CA I would like to see.
Been there and Jamie is telling you the gospel on it. Wonderful place to just sit and take in the beauty of your surroundings.
beautiful! have a great night and better day tomorrow!
looks like a beautiful spot to coamp. great shots
Neat places. My family would love that beach.
I want to go there! That's gorgeous, and I love camping and the sound of the ocean... I lived in San Diego for 3 years and I miss the soothing sound of the breakers.
You can't camp at Asilomar. You stay in the lodges and eat at the huge conference room. For camping you would drive south and camp in the State Forest. Incredible trailer and RV parking as well as camp sites.
It looks heavenly! We're not all that far from each other really... I'm north of you - in British Columbia.
Those are beautiful pics, espesically the sunset.

Gorgeous photos! It looks wonderful.
Freelance,It has been there since women wore their skirts to the ground. It is now part of the State Park system so that it can stay the way it is. Along a coast as developed as the Monterey Bay, it is a true treasure.
Absolutely beautiful. Love it. Just looking at the pictures help me feel serene.
Those are lovely!Happy WW!
I wish I could transport myself into that lovely photograph. I'd sell seashells by the seashore.Happy WW!
