Rising Again From The Flames
Here is an update on the Gardens since the fires
The gardens are now open for viewing from 10am - 5pm, 7 days a week
Since the tragic bushfires decimated the town of Marysville and took Brunos home and gallery with it, Bruno has been working tirelessly to restore the sculptures and the gardens to their former glory. The progress has been substantial and although there is still a long way to go, Bruno has decided to officially reopen the gardens to the public.
Bruno's home and art gallery were unfortunately completely destroyed in the 7th of February 2009 bushfire. The main attraction, the sculpture garden, has also been damaged, but around sixty percent of the sculptures have survived
Bruno has chosen to stay in Marysville to rebuild his home and restore the gardens. Brunos passion to share his love of art and the story of life with the world has not been damaged by the fires, in fact you would almost say it has been forged anew by the flames that nearly took it all away
