There are days when you just have to get away from it all. Right at the moment, I have had it with politics, our semi-criminal president, and incompetent government in general. My daughter who is recovering from an attack of shingles is running away from home to one of my favorite places on earth - Monterey. While there, she and her husband will lounge by the seaside and, of course, enjoy some biofeedback at the Monterey Bay Aquarium.
For those who can't get away: Take a mental health break with a short visit via the webcams

I pretty much every 3 days feel that way. It's the looping roller coaster of hell for america...hope your daughter feels better jamie :)
I missed my late nap today after getting home from work and now your otter is making me sleepy.

Monterey is a good place to heall...I know I used to live within walking Distance....
( tell her to go sit and breathe the air at Lovers Point...it will help....and so will eating fries there from the Hotdog stand by that little piece of heaven Beach....sigh)
( and when you sit at that Beach you can see many otters too...sigh)
My favorite place is actually in Pacific Grove though walking distance down the bike path from Monterey.
I would live at Asylomar Campgrounds if the State of California would cooperate and let me do it for free. :-) sigh!
