Happy New Year
Our little blue planet has a host of problems. Let's see if we can't kick off the new year on a note of hope for the future and may this time next year, find it in much better shape.

One of my favorite songs, but I prefer the Nancy Griffith version! That's a good video to go with it. I'm with you, darlin'. Let's make this a good year. Happy New Year to you, my friend.
Happiness New Year, Ms Jamie... once again, thank you for a year of friendship, Scrabble and now blogging. When I told my sister that I was 'writing' a blog now, she laffed and said: OMG, you're a BLOGGER!!!
Ah, I've always loved this song and such a great message behind it.
May you have a fantastic 2009 filled with love, laughter, health, happiness, and haggis (in your case!). Oh, and let's not forget Hugh either as I know how much you enjoy a little Hugh now and then! ;-)

I'll join you in that hope, and also do my part of the work to make it happen.
Thank you for the song, Jamie! I have an award for you at my Work of the Poet blog... Come get it! :)
