Sleep Study

Off for an adventure tonight. The doctor has ordered a "Sleep Study" to try to figure out why I only get about five hours sleep a night if I'm lucky. In case your doctor ever suggests such a thing, here is a pretty good description: Sleep Study PSA

As you can see, I will be more happy than usual that there won't be a mirror.

UPDATE

All is well. Taking the weekend off for pure fun. Back on Monday

Good luck! I did one of these a year or so ago and after being hooked up like the ultimatum stereo system with wires running everywhere along with a nasal canular for oxygen and a gadget on my finger to determine my pulse all night long I felt like I didn't sleep at all!

I know that I work up in the very same position that I feel asleep in and that's something I never do at home. The good news though was that I don't snore. The technician said I barely made a peep all night.

Of course, they still don't know why I can't sleep! Figures!

I have always been fascinated by sleep study. I hope it yields the info you need. Cheers Jamie!!

It's a little disconcerting knowing that someone is actually paid to watch every breath you take. :-)

and to watch you sleep...and I would be so compulsive I would want to check to make sure they weren't asleep...

Good luck with your study....
